Our polyurethane gel has the consistency of a layer of grease. It acts exactly like an artificial layer of grease and significantly reduces the pressure on the parts at risk. It can "slide" and move sideways and thus reduces shear forces. It does not flow and does not dry out if the cushion is pierced. It does not harden over time.
