K'GEL, our complete range of positioning pads for operating room in cross-linked viscoelastic gel

With K'GEL, we offer a full range of patient positioning pads made of cross-linked viscoelastic gel for operating rooms. The cross-linked polyurethane viscoelastic gel has a rheoligical index ranging from 80 to 90. This guarantees excellent flexibility and elasticity. Our latex and phthalates free gel is compliant with the EU Reach regulation.

The smooth 75 microns thick polyurethane cover is stretchable by 200%. It doesn't slack or split. It is hypoallergenic and can be cleaned or disinfected easily.

    Basic instructions for all K'GEL products

    All K'GEL products resist the ordinary cleaning agents used in operating theatres. Pads and cushions withstand running water but immersion is not recommended.

    All K'GEL are latex and phthalates free and hypoallergenic. The cross-linked gel is inert and static, it prevents the growth of bacteria.

    We supply a repair kit in case of minor cuts on the cover surface. For larger cuts we recommend to dispose of the item to avoid the risk of infection.

    K'GEL compliance

    Our K'GEL are manufactured in radiolucent and metal free material so it is safe to use them for MRI scans.

    In accordance with the European Union Health Directive 93/42/EEC for efficiency and safety, the EC label is affixed on all our K'GEL products during the manufacturing process.
